TRUMP IS COMING TO KLAIPEDA

Together with his loyal companions!

Yes, Trump is coming to Klaipeda. True, but not Donald! Janno Trump together with his loyal companion “Trump Conception” are coming to XXIII Klaipeda Castle Jazz Festival to remind the jazz lovers about the extraordinary role of jazz in cherishing fundamental values and beliefs.

“Janno Trump & Trump Conception” – one of the most popular and talented instrumental jazz-funk groups from Estonia.  There’s no doubt Klaipeda jazz festival audience will adore them as they are vituosos of uplifting, energizing, live and sensitive performance,” says Inga Grubliauskienė, the president of Klaipeda Castle Jazz Festival.

Thanks to his parents, who both are music teachers, Janno has been related with music already since very early age and in Tallinn G.Ots Music School he started to write his own music. In 2015 the winner of a number of music competitions, a bass guitar expert Janno Trump decided to assemble his own group “Trump Conception” and play his own compositions. The musicians Trump invited to the collective are the ones whose musical journey has crossed with Janno’s through the years and who all belong to the top of the Estonian jazz scene. The group performs original jazz-funk music composed by their bass player Janno Trump. Last year they released their debut album “One”, which instantly got a warm and really positive feedback from jazz lovers and was chosen as the “album of the month” by Radio Tallinn.

Interestingly, after one of the most controversial presidency elections of Donald Trump, Janno seriously considered changing the group’s name. However, following his friend’s advice that “Bad advertising is better than no advertising”, he decided against any changes.
